Olivier (1978) originally from Burundi. He studied Business Economics at HES Amsterdam and Controlling at Nyenrode Business University where he specialized in Management Control Systems. Olivier started his career as assistant-accountant and later went on to work at ING Bank where he is currently employed as Senior Financial Controller. Since February 2011, Olivier has been an active member of African Young Professional Network and serves on the activities and project committee. He became a member of the AYP Board in May 2011. Olivier fervently hopes that the AYP Network will contribute its fair share towards the positive imaging of Africans in The Netherlands. He also hopes that AYP Network will be a source of inspiration for young Africans living in The Netherlands to further develop themselves, integrate and flourish in The Netherlands. Within the Board Olivier Kakunze heads the activities committee and plays a major role in supporting the Treasurer.
