Dady - Board Member

Dady Kiyangi (1980) comes from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He moved to The Netherlands with his family at the age of nine. In The Hague he studied at the Hogeschool Inholland where he received a degree as Sociaal Juridisch Medewerker (Social Legal Officer) His career started in Utrecht as a security guard and he is currently working at the Leger des Heils (Salvation Army) in The Hague as a social worker. In addition to his activities as a social worker, he is the owner of Yangambi Entertainment & Speakers. Dady is often disturbed by the image of Africans in The Netherlands or better still Europe as a whole. For this reason he, as co-founder of AYP, wants to drastically help change the image of Africans in The Netherlands and Europe. In his free time, Dady is mainly involved in music, sports and debates on topical issues concerning the African continent; with particular reference to his motherland - the Democratic Republic of Congo.
