Board Member Angélique
Angélique – Board Member.

Angélique Mbundu - Kiyangi (1978) originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Angélique has lived with her family in The Netherlands from the age of sixteen. She studied Dutch Law at the University of Maastricht where she specialized in International and European Law. Her first practical experience was at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Human Rights and Peace Building. During her studies she was an intern at the Pan-African Non Governmental Organization Africa Legal Aid. In the past Angélique has worked at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland (The Dutch Council for Refugees) as an Asylum Lawyer and at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as a Lawyer/ Immigration Specialist. She is currently working as Marketeer Africa at Remco Ruimtebouw where she is responsible for turning Remco Afrique into one of the largest construction companies in Africa. As co-founder Angélique started African Young Professional Network because she wanted to give a voice and a face to the young African professional in The Netherlands. Most importantly, she wants African Young Professional Network to serve as an inspiration for the younger generation of Africans.
